Symphony Stone Is Our Latest Discovery

At Merrimack Stone and Cabinets, we’re all about innovation. We look for innovations to make our work – and the end results for our customers – better. Our drive for innovation has led us to invent; we hold patents on some of the fabrication machines that are used in our fabrication shop and those of many other fabricators.

So, when we hear of innovative products we research them, evaluate them and when they meet our high standards, celebrate them. A recent innovation we’ve discovered is Symphony Stone. Symphony Stone is a new type of engineered stone. Using a new raw material composition along with the latest printing technology, Symphony Stone creates a surface with impressive visual depth, subtle movement and realistic detail. It has a translucency equivalent to marble with the durability of quartz.

In order to protect our environment, Symphony Stone innovated the manufacturing process using their 4R technology:

  • Reduce - Less than 20% crystalline silica is used in the process
  • Recycle - Recycled materials are used in the manufacturing process.
  • Reuse - Nearly 100% of the water used in the process is recycled.
  • Respect - Lower environmental impact. Reducing by up to 70% the amount of respirable crystalline silica compared to traditional quartz manufacturing.

If you are planning a project and are looking for a high-quality, durable surface for your kitchen countertop, vanity top, fireplace surround or other home improvement, visit our showroom to see Symphony Stome as well as the other natural stones, quartz and porcelain surfaces we offer.

We’d love to see you and show you this latest innovation in stone surfaces.
