2. Statement Islands - That beautiful quartz slab can also go atop a statement island. Islands are bigger, with more seating, more prep space and often a waterfall edge. This makes the island a focal point for the room while also allowing homeowners more space for entertaining. A nice twist that we’re seeing in the New Year is wrap around seating that makes the island feel more conversational, like sitting at the dining table.
3. Natural Notes and Tones - There is a trend toward warmer, earthy tones. Greens – in any shades found in nature, – natural wood tones and décor items in natural materials are all part of this trend. Homeowners are craving a connection to nature, and these colors and materials help make that connection.
4. Minimalism - The clean, simple look is trending. Scandinavian, mid-century and contemporary styles are all popular in kitchen design.
